With its name inspired by the motion picture Dogma, the rookie stable was formed by Pope Fred and his valet Roseanne, bringing on Big B. Brown and Joe Brocolli to round-out the group. Blackwell would also be briefly brought into the group at EndGame, although it is unconfirmed if he was officially a member. After Pope Fred suffered multiple consecutive losses, he would leave the promotion, thus leaving Brown and Brocolli to compete exclusively as a tag team.
The motto of the group was "Karma's a Bitch, but... DOGMA will kill you".
Pope Fred, Big B. Brown, and Joe Brocolli signed with Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW) in April 2007 and were assigned to the Insanity brand. Management within LPW was excited to see new stars developing, and asked Pope Fred to take on leadership of his own faction to be called DOGMA, as it was to be underwritten by the beautiful diamond that Wevv Mang had so kindly returned to the Pope after he defeated Jeff Watson in his pay-per-view debut at Annihilation. The following show Insanity LIVE from Green Bay, Pope Fred and Dormy would defeat Brown and Brocolli, but after the match, Pope Fred attacked Dormy along with his new partners, thus forming the faction on October 16, 2007.
Adversity[]
In what many predicted to be a boon for the Pope and his partners, Brown and Brocolli, along with associate Blackwell, the Dogma stable quickly became a stomping mat for several LPW veterans, with all Dogma members unable to pick-up a victory. After losing to Son of Repoman and Bloodrose, Pope would lose his one-on-one match with the returning Showstoppa at EndGame. The "Three B's" would also lose a 3-on-3 tag team match to The Rabbi, Magic, and Andy Savana. The following show, Blackwell would defeat Pope Fred, thus the Dogma concept began to peel apart. As fast as he had arrived, the Pope was gone. Blackwell would continue on his way, leaving Brown and Brocolli to compete as a tag team.
Break up[]
Brown and Brocolli would earn a victory over Skull and The Blade to earn a spot for the rookie Tag Team Elimination match at Altered Reality IV, but Brocolli would flake, thus ending the stable. Brown would go on to represent Insanity without Brocolli, and teamed with Andy Savana, Jeff Watson, and Savage. The four would lose to Inferno's Team Heroic Future, where Eddie B. would be the sole survivor.
