As a life long wrestling fan, Frank Capone, started his career at an early age. At 16, Capone, lied to local Pittsburgh wrestling promoter, Randy West. Claiming to be eighteen, Capone’s charisma shined, immediately as he quickly rose threw the GCW ranks, first winning the tag titles with his brother and holding them for a record time, which would eventually lead to a lengthy World title run. With Frank Capone as the face of GCW, it quickly rose to be one of the biggest promotions around, but with horrible money management, Randy West, bankrupted the company. Feeling betrayed by West and Hollywood knocked on the door, Capone, decided to leave behind the business he loved to try his hand at acting. Once again, Capone’s charisma shined, only this time on the silver screen becoming the first professional wrestler to win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
