Madison Square Garden, often abbreviated as MSG and known colloquially as The Garden, is an indoor multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena in the New York City borough of Manhattan. It is located at 8th Avenue, between 31st and 33rd Streets, situated on top of Pennsylvania Station.

There have been four incarnations of the arena. The current Garden opened February 14, 1968, and is informally known to some by the advertising slogan "The World's Most Famous Arena".

In a fictional e-wrestling setting, Madison Square Garden has hosted several events for Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW), most notably the inaugural Homecoming that featured the 2006 PWA Draft.

EventsEdit

In a fictional e-wrestling setting, Madison Square Garden has hosted several events for Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW), most frequently when LPW was named the Psychotic Wrestling Alliance (PWA). The arena was the venue when the now-defunct PWA World Tag Team Championship was first crowned in 2004. Latino Meat (Villiano 187 and Ham Sammich) became the inaugural champions when they defeated the Main Page Mafia (Stanman and Blazing Phoenix) and the All-American Wrecking Crew (Phantom Lord and Woo Warrior) in a triple threat tag team elimination match.

The PWA would return to the Garden on November 29, 2006, for the inaugural Homecoming which hosted the 2006 PWA Draft. During the night, Drew "Headbanger" Michaels defeated The Rabbi for the PWA United States Championship, Robert Lillehammer would defeat first-overall pick Al for the PWA Television Championship, and Team Spectre defeated Team SoL in a 6-on-6 War Games match.

On November 12, 2009, Cash Flo and LPW co-produced Blood Money, which would mark the first time LPW had been to MSG in close to three years. Although the event didn't count in official LPW record books, Jude Maxwell continued his impressive career start by winning an Elimination Chamber match over Ultramarcus, TJ Tilli, Joe Michaels, Son of Shockey, and Cash Flo.

When the LPW World Cup was introduced in 2010, Madison Square Garden was named as the United States home arena, however the competition was later cancelled.

Other mediaEdit

LPW released a video game associated with Full Metal Wrestling called LPW vs. FMW: When Worlds Collide. Televised and pay-per-view events were televised from the Insane Asylum, which was based on Madison Square Garden, as seen from outside the arena and within the main foyer. Though each week, each event takes place from a different city (as announced by Blazing Phoenix at the start of the events), the areas outside of the arenas remained in Manhattan, New York. Notable areas are a New York Subway stop named Pyro Station, Times Square, and The World.
