Mike "Brawler" Nunes is an American professional e-wrestler that formerly competed for the Psychotic Wrestling Alliance (PWA) on its Pyromania brand during its third season. After the Pyrogate scandal that occured before Altered Reality III, Nunes decided to leave the PWA.

Career

Mike "Brawler" Nunes made his first appearance at the Pyromania pay-per-view, Captial Punishment (2006). Nunes would get in a comedic verbal exchange with another newcomer, Tromboner Man. They would face each other in their in-ring debuts at the new television show, Vertigo. Overcoming TBM's lucha tendencies with his brawling technique, Nunes got the victory.

Nunes and Tromboner Man would face-off again at Vertigo 8.2 in a six-man tag team match. Despite the popular reaction that TBM received with Paper Bag Man and N'itomniskittel, Nunes and his partners Jules and S.S.D.D. got the surprising victory. Currently, Nunes is the only e-wrestler to hold two separate victories over Tromboner Man.

Because of the victory, Nunes would be forced against his winning partners in a Triple Threat Snake Pit match, inspired by the movie Snakes on a Plane, with the winner receiving a pay-per-view title shot at the PWA Hardcore Championship. With all three competitors 15-feet high on a scaffold above a pit of snakes below, Nunes would successfully knock off Jules and S.S.D.D. to earn the title match.

Nunes would fight Retribution for the PWA Hardcore Championship at One Way Ticket (2006). The match didn't last very long, as Retribution accidently hit Nunes in the temple while dragging him off the top rope, knocking him out long enough for Retribution to gain the pinfall victory.

Shortly thereafter, Nunes would leave the Psychotic Wrestling Alliance (PWA) due to the Pyrogate scandal. He briefly appeared in Full Metal Wrestling (FMW) where he accepted being the commissioner of FMW development territory, New Era Wrestling, then retired shortly thereafter.
