Skull grew up in an orphanage where he earned his name "Skull" because of the white facepaint he always wore. He was a mischief-maker and made "early graduation" when he was 16. By the time he was 20, he had found out about pro wrestling. He worked his body and eventually grew strong enough to wrestle. He worked at minor league federations and became known to bring nightmare, pain, and suffering to the ring.
Skull made his LPW wrestling debut at Insanity's EndGame pay-per-view in an open invitational Hardcore Scramble match for a chance to become the number one contender to the LPW Hardcore Championship. Unfortunately for Skull, he was eliminated by the double-team efforts of Corbin Harms and Jeff Watson.
At Insanity LIVE from Long Island, Skull wrestled fellow newcomer The Blade in a one-on-one match, in which he emerged victorious. The following Insanity LIVE from Detroit, he was forced to team with The Blade against Dogma's Big B. Brown and Joe Brocolli for a chance to earn a spot on Insanity's rookie Altered Reality IV team. The two would be defeated. Soon after, he was released from his LPW contract.
