The Young and the Reckless was a short-lived professional e-wrestling tag team that appeared in the Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW), consisting of Ozwald Thomas and J-Naughty. They teamed together on the Inferno brand at the Sacrament (2007) pay-per-view in a losing effort to the Abandoned. Due to reported backstage problems, both decided to void their LPW contract.

History[]

Hype[]

During the summer of 2007, a number of hyped vignettes began airing on Inferno programming showcasing the talents of a young indy tag team, named The Young and the Reckless. The news of the team's signing immediately got a number of LPW fans excited, considering the handlers behind both characters and the brand featured an excitinig tag team scene, such as the MWA and Public Enemy #1 for potential feuds.

Due to the hype directed by management, reportedly the team grew frustrated due to the hold off of their in-ring debut.

Sacrament[]

Ozwald Thomas and J-Naughty made their debut at the Sacrament (2007) pay-per-view against the reunited Misfits tandem, The Abandoned (Mass Chaos and Edible). In the night's opening contest, the hype of the Young and the Reckless did not come to fruition, as the Abandoned dominated the match and hit the Final Destination for the quick 1, 2, 3.

Controversy[]

Out of character, both members no-showed their booking at Sacrament. Both charcters never appeared on LPW programming again. Reportedly, both members were frustrated at Inferno management due to the long wait for their debut.
